My prayers and sympathy are with all of you. What a tragedy.
I believe that there needs to be a State Day of Commemoration given the extent of these fires and the huge loss of life. my reasons for this include: it assisting in the grieving process,as well as a thankyou to all the emergency service workers and volunteers,and to also help build community resolve to avoid the same situations again.
