That is so funny. You know, I have considered changing the name of my blog to the 1000 faces of B16. It must have the most expressive papal face for many many years.
Well, at least for 10 years. Dear JPII was somewhat limited in his latter days. The funny thing about Benny is that he looks quite different in every photo. He can go from looking like an angel to the devil incarnate to a clown to a high court judge to your granfather. No disrespect meant, but as you say, it is a most expressive papal face. I wonder who would get the award for the least expressive face? Pope Pius XII?
