I'm not dead yet...

Sorry for those SCE readers who might prematurely have drawn the conclusion that the host of this 'ere blog has carked it. The silence of the last few days has been due to the fact that I have been in Sydney teaching the "Christian Traditions" course for the Catholic Adult Education Centre. It was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with good friends such as James McDonald (the one-time youth director for the Glorious See of Melbourne and now the Manager of Studies at CAEC) and the local ordinary of the See of Parramatta. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to catch up with ALL my friends North of the Border (apols to those reading this who certainly deserved a visit from me - time did not allow for extensive socialising). I did have the joy of meeting a couple of blog readers - hullo to Gill and especially to Paul G. who is a signed up member of the Commentary Table (someone please pass the port to Paul).

Anyway, please be assured that normal transmission will resume soon.

Schutz glad to hear that you enjoyed Sin City. I believe that there is a large Catholic Health conference up there this week,as one of my bosses is going to it.

Hello David, thanks for the port, and especially thanks for the course. I really feel the better for the material and the dialogue of courses at the CAEC, such as your excellent one. I must overcome my dislike of late midweek evenings and do more of them.
