Have you heard the one about the Archbishop, the Biologist, and the English Lit Professor?

Richard Dawkins is apparently a distinguished evolutionary biologist, but as a theologian he wouldn't past muster at undergraduate level, and I say that as one who has read an awful lot of undergraduate theology over the years. Dawkins would doubtless be appalled if a student handed him an essay in which it was clear that basic reading hadn't been done, or had been done so badly that it was hard to take seriously.
