Reading Paul - Starts tonight!

Just a reminder that my course "Reading Paul" will recommence tonight, 2nd February, at 6.30 pm at Mary Glowrey House (132 Nicholson Street, Fitzroy). This course is conducted under the auspices of Anima Education, a joint project of Anima Womens Network and Catholic Womens League.

Everyone and anyone is welcome!

The course will continue until the end of the Year of St Paul. This term we will read 1 Thessalonians, and in Term 2 we will read Philippians. There will be 14 classes as follows: February 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2, 16, 23, 30, May 4, 11, 18, 25, and June 1 and 15. There are no classes during school holidays, on public holidays, or in April.

The cost for the remainder of the course is $10/night or $135 if paid in advance on the first evening.

Advance notice for those of you who would be interested - I will be giving a course in Third Term on the Apocalypse of St John and in Fourth Term on The Four Last Things.

Nice work David! I start my "Opening the Bible" tomorrow and "Gospel of Mark" on Thursday. I'd love to catch up with you about the Apocalypse mate. Teaching that has always been an 'interesting' time in class. I wold appreciate the chance to compare notes

I have some notes I can send you, Peter from the last time I taught it. I will see what I can do.

Arabella - a reader and occasional commentator on this blog - was present last night at our first class. She is from out in one of our regional towns, so it was good that she could join us. Another woman, visiting from Perth, was able to attend too.

So if anyone is in Melbourne on a Monday night with nothing else to do, come and join us.
